This was the brainchild of our Student Council
"Dear GPCHS Staff,
Good afternoon! In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month, our school's Student Council is hosting an Ice Bucket Challenge to spread awareness and also raise money for the cause. This event will be taking place on Friday, May 30th at lunchtime in the outdoor courtyard beside the Bistro.
Students will be able to pay $1 for a ticket to enter a raffle for a chance to dump water on a teacher of their choice (They can purchase multiple to increase their chances). We will also be selecting students so staff and other students can have a chance to dump water on them as well. Presale will be occurring at lunch in the days leading up to May 30th.
We encourage you to help us spread awareness by signing up, and if you do, kindly bring an extra change of clothes and a towel. We look forward to seeing you there!"
