Land based experience day-Grade 12 Indigenous students will get a chance to spend the day out on the land at Camp Tamarack. Bussing from the school, lunch and snacks will be provided. Traditional land-based teaching, Indigenous games, traditional crafts, survival skills, future goal setting, lunch and more, with the GPPSD Indigenous Education Programming team, local knowledge keepers and Elders. We will have a full day of fun, connection, and learning planned for the grade 12 Indigenous students.

The GPPSD Indigenous Team is planning a large-scale community event with an evening of culture, performances, music, and refreshments. We are saving a segment of the evening to honour and acknowledge the grade 12 graduates. We welcome and encourage you to bring some friends and family to join you and as an add-on, join us at our Indigenous Culture Connector Evening for an honouring of our Indigenous Graduates.
